Thoughts of the Blogger

Although a number of Korean dramas used fixed marriage as a plot springboard, it shows how marriage works when the more matured person in the relationship steps in with genuine effort to make the relationship work and puts the spouse as the priority.  Old flames are usual cause of misunderstandings but in this drama, Hyuk Joon  did everything he can to remove himself from a situation that may otherwise be misinterpreted by the old flame as an act of "leading on" - he remained a perfect gentleman while clearly pushing back an aggressive ex-girlfriend. Yes, misunderstandings still came up but he still controlled the situation pretty well.
